Discussing bias and involving everyone in the conversation is, for Bryce Ridley, the meaning of Black History Month. At Adelphi, he found a community where ideas are discussed openly—and faculty, counselors and organizations that represented his background and interests. Discovering and getting involved with the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, the Office of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging, and the African, Black and Caribbean Studies program gave Bryce opportunities and helped him find role models. The University is committed to being an inclusive and connected community and to advancing diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging throughout all academics, administration and campus activities. _______________________ Learn more about Adelphi University at https://adelphi.edu Read about diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging efforts at Adelphi at https://www.adelphi.edu/diversity/about Find out more about the African, Black and Caribbean Studies program at https://www.adelphi.edu/program/under...
